Lord Montana Blue completed a BA degree in graphic art after graduating with 2:1 he was offered a job at the newly opened Jolie Rouge tattoo where he apprenticed under Matt Difa (the leading contemporary tattooist in London).
After a year of working the counter, studying studio practice and cross contamination he started tattooing, quickly progressing to tattoo walk-in’s then custom work.
Lord Has been tattooing professionally since April 2008 at the Jolie Rouge Tattoo in kings cross London where he was been honing his craft as a tattooist, painter and graphic designer. his well crafted tattoos and artwork has gained him acclaim from the art and tattoo industry alike, Lord is now taking the next step in his promising career but embarking in a collection of tattoo conventions and world wide group and solo exhibitions.
